Contracts in the Bison system are powered by zk-STARKs.
These dynamic programs constantly update their status while generating zk-proof. In addition, they serve as the user interface via APIs, meaning that in most cases, users interact directly with these Contracts.
The functionality of a Contract is defined by its modules. The more modules a Contract has, the more APIs are available for user interaction with that Contract.
Each Contract also has a unique address. This address is used to provide the funding necessary to inscribe data back to Bitcoin.
When a Contract uses the 'Swap' module, its address also serves as a liquidity pool. Similarly, if a Contract is equipped with the 'BRC-20 Bridge' module, its address doubles as a Vault.
In essence, Bison Contracts provide a flexible, secure, and efficient way for users to interact with the Bitcoin network and perform various operations, such as swapping tokens or bridging BRC-20 tokens, all within a single, zk-STARK-powered framework.
